Visit Warwick Gardens

If you are planning a visit to our gardens with your group, you might consider a visit to our colleagues at Mill Garden and the Lord Leycester Hospital Master's Garden at the same time.

Starting at Hill Close Gardens

There is a coach drop-off point outside Hill Close Gardens. Your coach can then park in Car Park 11 Car Park Map

Have your talk, guided tour and refreshments here. (1½ - 2 hours)

Leave Hill Close by the Town gate and walk to the Lord Leycester Hospital (5 minutes)

Visit the Mater's Garden (1 hour)

Depending on when you arrive, you can find many eating places in the town centre, to have lunch before or after your visit to the Master's Garden.

Walk down High Street to the Information Office. turn down Castle Street and enter the Castle grounds. Instead of going into the Stables for the Castle Entrance, go down the steps to the eighteenth century castle drive. Go down the drive. At the gatehouse, turn right down Mill Street to Mill Garden at the end. (20 minutes)

Visit Mill Garden (1 hour)

Meet your coach at the top of Mill Street or in St Nicholas Park car park (5 minutes)

Or you can make the trip in the reverse order.

Mill Garden, Castle Bridge and Swan

Mill Garden, Created by Arthur Measures from 1937, in the stunning setting of Warwick Castle and the mediaeval bridge

The Master's Garden at the Lord Leycester Hospital is a re-creation of the garden as it was in Victorian times. It occupies the site of the Mediaeval Guild garden.
