How you can help

If you would like to assist our fundraising appeal you can make a credit card donation through this secure link:

In December 2004 the Trust's application to the Heritage Lottery Fund was successful. We were granted £906,500 towards the much needed restoration of the Gardens and summer houses, as well as for a purpose-designed resource centre to replace our worn-out temporary classroom.

We will now be able to continue to give a welcoming talk and tea to our visiors and maintain our programme of work with schools. The Lottery Grant will also pay the salary of our head gardener for the first five years

We have also been awarded grants which contribute to our match-funding and have provided the glass house, opened in 2007. Thanks to our funders here

But the fundraising must continue.........

Funds continue to be needed to advance the restoration. One summer house remains in its late twentieth century chicken-house form and othe summer houses have been lost completerly. We still need the help of donors to develop the gardens further.
